ARLTC Season 2 Review

Mangan Secures 2nd – Balfour Missing Out Championship Chances

The second season of the Apex Racing League TCR Series was held on various competitive racing circuits around the world once again – fighting for the championship on 13 venues across several months in fall and winter of 2020, CoRe SimRacing decided to join this season with Oscar Mangan and Ross Balfour. Carl Jansson, who decided to enter the series a bit later, was able to contribute valuable points to the team championship by gaining great points and showing solid performance, too.

Ross overall season had impressive stats on the sheets : 5 race wins, 8 podium results and around 23 Top-10 finishes gave him the points to reside on top of the standing lists until the final race of the season. Oscar on the other hand was also able to recall consistent results throughout the races with 6 podiums and 21 Top-10 finishes. As a final contributor of team racing points, Carl was providing one race win, 7 podium and 16 Top-10 finishes. After 13 races the team has finished 2nd in the team standings with Oscar in 2nd and Ross in 9th.

Due to the misfortune and painful ending to Balfour’s overall great season, the CoRe SimRacing team hopes for a even stronger setup of drivers next season to fight for the drivers & team championships once again. Content and pictures by Andy Taylor – Groove Media.
